The Hershey Company was estabished by Milton Snavely Hershey in 1894 in Pennsylvania, USA. At that time, the name of The Hershey Company was 'Hershey Chocolate Company' and it made caramel and Hershey cocoa.
In 1927, the name of Hershey Chocolate Company was changed to Hershey Chocolate Corporation, and then it was changed to Hershey Foods Corporation in 1968. In 2005, the name of Hershey Foods Corporation was renamed to The Hershey Compnay.
